Who We Are

Rooted in community.
Driven by purpose.

Mai Health & Human Services LLC was built on a simple belief: every person deserves access to care, support, and opportunity — regardless of where they come from or what they're facing.

Our Story

Born from a gap that couldn't be ignored

Mai Health & Human Services LLC was founded in 2026 in Springfield, Massachusetts, after years of witnessing the same painful reality: individuals and families in our community were falling through the cracks of a fragmented health and social services system.

Too many people were showing up to emergency rooms for conditions that could have been managed. Too many families were losing housing because no one helped them navigate the system in time. Too many young people were struggling without early support.

We started with a small team and a clear mission: be the bridge. Connect people to what they need, stay with them through the process, and never let complexity become a barrier to care.

Fourteen years later, that mission still drives everything we do.

Our Mission

To improve the health, stability, and quality of life of youth, adults, and seniors within Western Massachusetts through accessible, culturally responsive, person-centered health and human services.

Our Vision

Thriving, equitable communities where every individual — regardless of age, income, or background — has access to the care, resources, and support needed to live with dignity, stability, and well-being.

What We Stand For

Our core values

Dignity & Respect

Every person we serve deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and unconditional respect — regardless of background, circumstance, or ability to pay.

Person-Centered Care

We start with the whole person, not just the presenting need. Our support is built around individual goals, strengths, and lived experience.

Cultural Responsiveness

We honor the diversity of our community. Our services are delivered with cultural humility, linguistic accessibility, and deep respect for identity.

Equity & Access

We believe quality care is a right, not a privilege. We work to remove barriers and ensure services reach those who need them most.

Community Partnership

We don't work in isolation. Strong partnerships with local organizations, providers, and community leaders make our work more effective and sustainable.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to learning, growing, and evolving our practices to better serve our community — guided by data, feedback, and best practices.
